Blaye
Blaye is an experimental short film that investigates the theme of oral tradition using audio recordings fragments. Intertwining verses and memories, the narrating voice, much like that of a bard, weaves a conceptual and delicate rhapsody. A timeless and ethereal narrative dimension emerges, in which a dialogue between poetry and memory takes place.
Regia
The short film Blaye is, for the young creatives Pietro Floris (24) and Pietro Fadda (24), their film directing debut.
This is a low-budget self-produced project made during the pandemic.
Pietro Floris is a law student who self-taught studied editing, screenwriting, and film directing. He was also selected as a BaseCamp member at the 2021 edition of the Locarno Film Festival.
An eclectic creative, Pietro Fadda supplements his profession as a fashion designer (Missoni) with significant collaborations in furniture design.
